The ICT Business Council of Georgia aims to promote the development of the information-communication technologies in the country through the following objectives:
- Improving the e-literacy in the country;
- Strengthening the standardization, certification and quality control processes in the ICT-industry in Georgia;
- Initiating and supporting the cooperation between the state, business and educational sector for the ICT development.
ICT Business Council of Georgia was established in May 2009 within the framework of USAID funded Business Climate Reforms project.
The council was established by the ten leading ICT companies and more than thirty IT specialists representing governmental, non-governmental and business sector and having the significant experience in developing the new technologies in the country.
